As the El Niño phenomenon sets in, bringing out predictions of extreme heat, LEYECO V moved to continue to support schools. Headed by Dir. Maximo T. Torcende (Distric II-Ormoc South) and Public Relations Officer, Elvira M. Baluyo, the coop handed over one (1) unit Industrial Fan and 1 gallon hand wash soap to Lorenzo Y. Palou Elementary School in Barangay Bantigue, Ormoc.

The gesture was warmly welcomed by the school's Officer-in-Charge, Mabel M. Tomada, and the faculty staff, who expressed their gratitude for the donation.
