A composite team of LEYECO V, headed by General Manager Atty. Jannie Ann J. Dayandayan, CPA and Board Director of District VI (Leyte & Calubian), Dir. Jesus Ma. N. Arante, Jr., conducted a courtesy visit to Municipality of San Isidro, Leyte Mayor Remedio B. Veloso. The courtesy visit aims at fostering a harmonious relationship with the San Isidro LGU and ensuring effective collaboration on electrification initiatives.

During the meeting, GM Atty. Dayandayan introduced the Caretaker Director for District V which covers the Municipalities of San Isidro and Tabango, Leyte. Key discussions included organizing of Barangay Electricians and establishing Member-Consumer-Owner Organizations (MCOO) for the Barangay and Municipality level. A significant agenda item was the "Oplan Taud Kuryente Part 3," a program designed to address aid marginalized members of the community in applying for electric connection. This initiative is set to be rolled out in the third quarter of 2024 in collaboration with the Local Government Units (LGU) which marks a significant step in addressing local electrification challenges within the Franchise Area of LEYECO V.

The meeting was attended by Sangguniang Bayan Members Rolando Piamonte, Danilo Rodaje, Jedd Lumapak, Carmichael Villarino, and Municipal Administrator Carlo Pacito L. Villarino.
