On November 20, 2024, a heartfelt send-off ceremony was held for 11 electric cooperatives from Eastern Visayas, including 10 skilled line workers from LEYECO V. These brave individuals are on their way to assist First Catanduanes Electric Cooperative, Inc. (FICELCO), which was severely affected by Super Typhoon Pepito.

This act of solidarity reflects the deep bond shared by electric cooperatives across the country. For LEYECO V, the mission hits close to home. The devastation brought by Super Typhoon Yolanda is still fresh in their memory, as is the overwhelming support they received from other cooperatives during that difficult time. Now, it is their turn to extend hope and light to Catanduanes.

In addition to restoring power lines, LEYECO V has also prepared supplies, including rice and bottled water, for the affected families. This embodies the true spirit of 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗱—a commitment to help one another in times of need.
